About The Position
Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders in the designated area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Team members operate equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The position involves working in varying weather and store temperatures, handling food and supplies, and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, and occasionally climbing.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to perform the physical demands described, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and stacking cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate to addresses using maps and handle adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Unload and move product deliveries, including using a hand truck.
