About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Drivers also perform general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Must be able to meet the stated physical demands, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, and reaching.
• Far and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks; ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to customer addresses, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
• Carry products during deliveries and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Perform general store tasks such as operating a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and communicating with customers and co-workers.
• Participate in on-the-job orientation and training.
