About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance into management or other roles. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers may also perform general store-team duties, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The job involves driving to customer locations and carrying deliveries, as well as working in the store. Work may involve varying weather, hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The role requires frequent standing, reaching, and walking; occasional lifting and carrying; and navigating stairs or other challenging delivery terrain. Product deliveries may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by phone and in person.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with speed and accuracy.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to drive in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, and to use near, mid-range, far, and night vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other sites.
Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries and navigate stairs when needed.
