About The Position

Upper Lakes Foods is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to customers on scheduled routes. The driver operates a tractor-trailer and delivers and unloads products such as meat, produce, and frozen goods. The position offers independence on the road and support from a team. Routes operate primarily during overnight hours, and annual earnings are stated as $85,000–$90,000. The driver uses a two-wheeled hand cart and metal truck ramps to move products, completes pre-trip inspections, verifies invoices using company technology, navigates changing road and weather conditions, and follows DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL. One year of commercial driving experience is preferred but not required. Final candidates must successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, pre-employment lift evaluation, and DOT drug screening.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Ability to safely maneuver a loaded two-wheel cart with product loads up to 350–500 lbs.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 60 lbs.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and completing the job effectively.
Successful completion of the required background check, MVR check, pre-employment lift evaluation, and DOT drug screening.
