About The Position

US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Boca Raton, Florida. The role delivers products to customers safely and on time, while providing professional customer service and verifying deliveries. Drivers unload 100% touch freight using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand and place products in designated storage areas. The position requires navigating highways and city streets, backing into tight docks, and working in varied weather and multi-temperature conditions. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, starting between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and working until finished. Compensation starts at $35.41 per hour plus component pay based on factors such as stops, miles, and cases; the posting states that drivers average $45.00 per hour including component pay. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and benefits begin on day one.

Requirements

Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or at least 3 months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
Be able to read and communicate in English, including holding a conversation, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.
Be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, or lower 20 to 80+ pounds of product during each shift.
Be able to drive and work in inclement weather, make frequent stops, and work in temperatures as low as 0 degrees.
Be able to continuously grasp and manipulate objects and frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb or balance, stoop or squat, kneel or bend, reach above the shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.
