About The Position

US FOODS® is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Drivers deliver foodservice products safely and on time, navigate highways and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload products into designated storage areas. This is a 100% touch-freight role. Drivers work Monday through Saturday with Sundays off and may also have Monday or Wednesday off. Start times range from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The stated pay is $27.87 per hour.

Requirements

Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or at least 3 months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
Be able to read and communicate in English, including conversing, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.
Be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ pounds of product during each shift.
Be able to drive and work in inclement weather and make frequent stops (10 or more per shift).
Be comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.
Be able to continuously grasp and manipulate objects, and frequently sit, stand, walk, drive, climb or balance, stoop or squat, kneel or bend, reach above the shoulder, twist, and use manual dexterity.

Ability to operate a manual transmission; this may be required at specific locations.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
Unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, and place them in designated storage areas.
Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
Provide professional customer service.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
Handle collections and payments when applicable.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
