About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. Drivers deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, order entry, and navigating delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The role includes physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies or orders, reaching, bending, and occasionally climbing stairs. Work conditions may include varying weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, and navigating stairs as required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and to their doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries, including while walking and climbing.
