About The Position

Domino's Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to serve customers and support store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery duties, team members perform general store tasks such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning the equipment and facility. The position requires customer communication, accurate order entry and payment handling, and the ability to work independently and with others while meeting quality standards. The work involves exposure to changing weather conditions, varying store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Most tasks are performed standing, with walking and occasional sitting for paperwork. Physical activities include lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching and hand use. Deliveries may include supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Eye-hand coordination and ability to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Handle monetary transactions and provide correct change.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and occasional climbing.
