About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a primary job or supplemental work. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also distribute flyers and door hangers. The position includes general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The work involves driving within a designated delivery area and navigating to customer locations, including private homes and multi-story buildings. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and carry pizzas and beverages while walking or climbing stairs. Store work may involve standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive hand tasks. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and take and process orders verbally, in writing, and by telephone.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Physical ability to perform the stated duties, including carrying products, walking, climbing stairs, and handling store supplies.

Responsibilities
