About The Position

As a Domino’s Delivery Driver, you deliver orders within a designated delivery area and provide customer service while also helping with in-store work. The role includes receiving training in deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. It may offer opportunities to advance from delivery driving into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to lift and unload deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, and continuous reaching and hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and by telephone.
• Unload and stock product deliveries, including cases of ingredients and supplies.
• Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
• Help with store tasks as needed, including pizza preparation.
