About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Drivers are expected to provide excellent customer rapport and may earn daily cash tips, daily mileage reimbursement, and up to $20 or more per hour. The role is described as part-time, 12–25 hours per week. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position may offer opportunities for advancement into assistant manager, general manager, franchisee, or Manager of Corporate Operations roles.

In addition to driving and delivery duties, team members may operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility. The role involves communicating with customers and coworkers, processing orders, handling money, and using a computer keyboard or touchscreen. Work may involve varying weather, hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and arms.

Requirements

• Have a safe, reliable car and insurance.
• Have a three-year driving history with three or fewer tickets in the last three years.
• Have a can-do attitude, high energy, and excellent customer rapport.
• Comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders.
• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Coordinate eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Meet the physical demands described, including standing for most tasks, lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, and frequent reaching and hand use.
