About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking qualified delivery drivers to deliver meals to customers in their community. As a Delivery Expert, you represent the company to customers and are responsible for delivering food hot, fresh, and ready to eat. Drivers may perform various in-store duties while waiting for deliveries. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities to grow into management or other roles. The work involves exposure to varying weather, a range of in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position may require working alone or with others, handling stress, completing repetitive tasks, and meeting quality standards. Physical demands include extended periods of standing and walking, lifting and carrying products, climbing stairs, and bending or reaching. Delivery requires safe driving, including in adverse weather and terrain, and may involve climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to a clean, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to drive safely and efficiently in adverse terrain and weather.
Vision suitable for long-distance and night driving.
Ability to stand for long periods, walk on various floor types, sit for administrative duties and online training, and lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to carry up to 30 pounds and lift packages from the floor to shelves as high as 72 inches.
Ability to climb; delivery may require climbing five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, squat, reach, and use hands for extended periods to manipulate dough and use necessary tools.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and staff.
Ability to calculate basic math quickly and accurately and handle money accurately.
Rapid, accurate hand-eye coordination and basic computer knowledge for order entry and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customer-requested locations, safely and efficiently as business requires.
Carry food or beverages while walking or climbing as needed to complete deliveries.
Maintain access to and keep clean the vehicle used for deliveries.
Maintain Domino’s Perfect Image uniform standards on and off site.
Perform various duties in the store while waiting for deliveries.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process customer orders; complete inventory and related paperwork; and maintain a clean restaurant.
Complete required training and job orientation.
Communicate professionally with customers and staff in person and by phone, and follow written instructions.
Handle money accurately and perform basic math for work tasks.
