About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes delivering flyers and door hangers. Drivers must be able to locate addresses and navigate delivery sites, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other locations, while carrying products. The position offers a flexible schedule and on-the-job orientation and training. Opportunities for advancement within Domino’s are described, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery. The job also involves general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical duties include standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder. Delivery work may require carrying pizzas and beverages and climbing five or more flights of stairs. Drivers need far and night vision for driving, as well as the ability to communicate with customers and coworkers and process orders by telephone, computer keyboard, or touchscreen.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Be able to carry products and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.
Be able to perform the described physical tasks, including lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and by telephone.
