About The Position

BioTrans LLC is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver for its Sacramento Hub. BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology, and infrastructure for the life sciences industry. The role involves Tuesday and Wednesday route deliveries covering Sacramento and SFO, with early morning starts as early as 3:00 a.m. The driver operates a small box truck or cargo van to transport freight on time-sensitive routes and performs vehicle inspections, cleaning, and related safety and reporting tasks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Acceptable driving record: two or fewer moving violations in the past three years and no DWI/DUI in the past five years for insurance purposes.
• Background check required.
• Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn the company’s workflow-related applications.
• Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
• Ability to climb into and out of vehicles repeatedly without difficulty.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload, and deliver freight using a small box truck or cargo van.
• Follow assigned routes and time-sensitive schedules with close attention to detail.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
• Navigate surrounding areas using GPS and use scanning devices.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Fuel the truck as needed and evaluate and report issues to dispatch or managers.
• Clean, wash, and sanitize assigned vehicles.
