About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including progression into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder; delivery may require climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
• Navigate delivery areas, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to take and process orders by phone and in person.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and work areas.
