About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking Delivery Experts for its Los Angeles County locations. This fast-paced role combines customer service and delivery work with in-store duties. Drivers deliver food by car to customers and may also prepare products, process orders, stock ingredients, take inventory, clean, and complete related paperwork. The position offers hourly pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement, with opportunities to grow within the company. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Solid customer service skills and the ability to work quickly with a positive attitude.
• Have held a USA driver’s license for at least two years.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to a safe, clean, reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Acceptable employment and personal history; background checks are required.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately; ability to enter orders by keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
• Ability to lift and stock cases weighing up to 50 pounds, with shelving up to 72 inches high; carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and dough trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
• Ability to push or pull trays on dollies, reach continuously, bend, crouch, squat, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
• Ability to drive within the designated delivery area and carry food and beverages while walking and climbing.
• Ability to work around varying and sometimes adverse weather, temperatures from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Adequate talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, and depth perception, including the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders, including communicating with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area; make several deliveries per shift as needed.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Make correct monetary change and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies on shelves.
• Navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
