About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone looking for a main job or supplemental work. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may have opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

In addition to delivery duties, store team members operate equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, receive and process orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The work involves driving, walking, carrying food and beverages, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Working conditions may include adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Have far vision and night vision suitable for driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and beverages within the designated delivery area.
• Use navigation skills to locate addresses and navigate private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
