About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is seeking customer service representatives with strong people skills to support store operations. Team members help make, bake, or take pizzas during busy hours and may work part-time or full-time. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role can offer opportunities for advancement from customer service to management and other positions within the company. Team members work in a restaurant environment with exposure to changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot oven surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position involves frequent standing and hand use, short-distance walking, lifting and carrying supplies, and other physical tasks described below.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks of the job, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Responsibilities
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders, and communicate with customers in person.
- Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Unload deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and shelves.
- Perform other store tasks, including occasional sign-price changes, wall washing, and maintenance.
