About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver to deliver orders within the designated delivery area and support in-store operations. Drivers must use an insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s driving-history and vehicle-safety requirements. The role includes customer service, order processing, food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and other general team-member duties. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position pays $15.50 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Advancement opportunities may include management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
• Must meet the stated driving-record standards: limits on violations and at-fault accidents, no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years, and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle, be listed as an insured driver on its policy, and ensure the vehicle is registered and safe to operate.
• Must have customer-service and navigation skills, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, understand and give written instructions, and process orders by phone and in person.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Must have motor coordination and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
• Must be able to work with others or alone, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders within the designated delivery area and navigate addresses and delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
• Help with food preparation, cleaning, stocking ingredients, and other in-store tasks as needed.
• Operate store equipment and prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload and stock product deliveries, including moving supplies using a hand truck.
• Meet applicable vehicle inspection requirements and use only a vehicle that passes inspection for business purposes.
