About The Position

The Delivery Expert (Driver) works in store operations, delivering pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while also helping with in-store work. The role involves providing positive customer service, driving safely and courteously, taking and processing orders, handling cash, and assisting with food preparation, stocking, and store cleanliness. Delivery Experts may also distribute leaflets and door hangers as required. The position offers hourly pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement, flexible hours, training and rewards, and opportunities for career progression. Work involves driving and standing for extended periods, exposure to varying outdoor weather and a range of in-store temperatures, and handling supplies and equipment. The role may include lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, using a hand truck, and occasional stair or ladder use.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, including making correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and comprehend written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and Team Members by phone and in person.
Have motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Have near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Be able to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, including stacking cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Be able to use a hand truck and move trays on dollies; occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
Know and read the store’s delivery-area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, and greet customers within 10 seconds.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly return and store Domino’s-issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Perform other outside tasks, such as removing trash, and occasional basic maintenance tasks.
