About The Position

VAZ Restaurants, LLC., a growing Domino’s franchise operator with 29 locations, is hiring delivery drivers. Drivers deliver orders within their designated area and periodically assist with in-store tasks such as food preparation and cleaning. The role may suit someone seeking a hobby, primary job, or supplemental work, and the company describes opportunities for growth and promotion, including advancement into management or franchise ownership. Drivers must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license and an eligible U.S. licensed driving history, and use a registered, insured vehicle for which they are listed on the insurance policy. The vehicle must meet safety standards and pass periodic inspections. The position pays $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years; a suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
Driving record must meet the stated standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
Must have no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
Must have access to a vehicle that is registered, insured, meets safety standards, and lists the driver on its insurance policy.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
Must have customer service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
Must be able to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Must have basic arithmetic and money-handling skills, including making correct change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and sustained hand use.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
Navigate to addresses using maps and navigate delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Assist periodically with food preparation and other in-store duties.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Maintain a safe vehicle for business use and participate in periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
