About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products safely and on time while providing quality customer service in person and over the phone. The role also supports store operations through cross-training in food preparation, opening and closing procedures, order handling, inventory, cleaning, and other assigned tasks. Work conditions vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle for delivery and be listed as an insured driver on that vehicle.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within designated delivery areas, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and use a computer-based order entry system.

Responsibilities

• Collect cash and credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
• Check products for accuracy and quality before delivery, and deliver or carry out orders safely and on time.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections.
• Meet Domino’s grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
• Receive cross-training in product and ingredient preparation, opening and closing procedures, pizza oven operation, and boxing orders for delivery or carryout.
• Respond promptly to store phone lines and assist carryout customers.
• Provide quality service to internal and external customers in person and over the phone.
• Contribute to a teamwork-oriented, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associate paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Operate all equipment.
