About The Position

Domino’s Pizza delivery drivers are paid cash nightly, including tips and mileage reimbursement. The position is an opportunity to learn about delivery operations, customer service, and product preparation, with potential to develop skills for other roles at Domino’s. The company states that it promotes from within and that many managers began as drivers. The role involves delivery work and may include in-store and other outside tasks. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather, a range of in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces such as walk-in coolers, hot oven surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The position also involves standing and walking for many tasks, handling supplies and food products, moving trays, and occasionally using stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Proof of liability insurance.
Positive attitude.
Customer-service orientation.
Basic math skills.
At least 18 years old.
Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances.
Ability to handle the described lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling tasks, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near- and mid-range vision, perceive depth, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers.
Perform customer service tasks.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move products to storage shelves.
Carry ingredients, supplies, sauce, and trays of pizza dough between work and storage areas.
Push or pull trays on dollies.
Occasionally use stairs or a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
