About The Position

The Delivery Driver is expected to provide courteous, helpful service to phone and carryout customers and demonstrate knowledge of the menu. Drivers must follow the company’s customer-service, cash-handling, delivery, vehicle cleanliness, and safety procedures. The posting also includes standards for other store employees, including pizza makers and general staff.

Requirements

• Follow the company’s customer-service and delivery procedures.
• Have $1 in coin change for every delivery.
• Complete the Safe Delivery CBT.
• Repeat orders and confirm the customer’s name and address.
• Do not carry more than $20 while on the clock, including personal money.
• Do not carry a pocket knife or any weapon while working.

Responsibilities

• Assist phone and carryout customers politely and courteously, providing helpful service and menu knowledge.
• Demonstrate the customer WOW steps: apologize, give customers what they want, and give them something extra.
• Keep the driver vehicle neat, clean, and presenting a positive image while working.
• Carry $1 in coin change on every delivery and say, “Let me get your change” on every order.
• Repeat every order for accuracy and confirm the customer’s name and address.
• Complete the Safe Delivery CBT.
• Do not route early or check in early from deliveries.
