About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve stores in the Palm Springs area. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing phone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing.
Ability to lift and stack delivery cases weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to work around hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and changing temperatures.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers about orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
Perform occasional outside tasks, such as removing trash.
Perform occasional maintenance tasks, including changing prices on signs and washing walls.
