About The Position

The Delivery Driver drives a company vehicle over established routes to deliver products safely and efficiently to customers. The role also provides customer service in the store and during deliveries. The driver follows designated routes and schedules, loads and unloads the vehicle, prepares orders by mixing or tinting products to customer specifications, and identifies and matches paint colors. Other store duties include assisting customers by phone and in person, answering questions, processing cash and credit card transactions, and maintaining a cash drawer. The driver collaborates with coworkers and managers to maintain smooth workflow and performs other duties assigned by management. This is a part-time position at a paint store in Kansas City, Kansas. Store hours are 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday; the store is closed Sundays. Flexible scheduling is available. The role requires physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, and lifting and carrying products to and from delivery and customer vehicles, store areas, and possible job delivery sites.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.

Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED).
Ability to perform the physical activities specified for the role, including standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, lifting, and carrying.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus.
Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
