About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main job or supplemental work. Team members may have opportunities to advance into management and other roles. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivering orders, the position includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, completing inventory and related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Drivers deliver in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions and must be able to navigate the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers in the designated delivery area.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
