About The Position

Viking Electric is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver in Duluth, Minnesota. The role delivers electrical products from the warehouse to local customers using a straight truck or box truck, with drivers returning home each night. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 4:00 a.m. start. Pay depends on license and experience: $25.00–$30.00 per hour for drivers with a Class B license or higher, and $21.00–$26.00 per hour for drivers with a Class D license. Pay within each range increases based on relevant driving experience.

Drivers inspect their vehicles, load delivery materials, transport products safely, contact customers upon arrival, and assist with unloading. Deliveries may include wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes. The driver represents the company while serving customers and is expected to follow safety procedures and maintain a courteous demeanor.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license; the requirements section specifies a Class B CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds.
• Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation physical with the company’s physician network.
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting numbers.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment; training is provided.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• One year of related experience and/or training is preferred but not required.
