About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store work, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Full training is provided, including training in deliveries and pizza preparation. The position offers opportunities for career growth within Domino’s, including progression to management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone and use near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
• Assist with other in-store work and team activities.
