About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver orders within a designated area and assist with in-store tasks such as food preparation and cleaning. Drivers must use their own insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s driving and vehicle-safety requirements. The position pays $16.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The role may offer advancement opportunities, including progression to management or franchise ownership. Weekend and holiday availability is mandatory.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation to prove it.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years; the suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
• Driving record must meet the stated limits: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the last five years. Serious violations include examples such as impaired driving, leaving the scene, reckless driving, hit and run, eluding police, driving while suspended or unlicensed, and speeding 30 MPH or more over the posted limit.
• Must have access to a vehicle that is insured, registered, meets safety standards, and is covered by an insurance policy listing the driver.
• Must have customer-service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
• Must be able to comprehend and give written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co-workers; process orders; perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change; and use a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
• Must be able to perform the physical and sensory functions described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, reaching, bending, handling tools and products, and talking and hearing on the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Help with in-store tasks periodically, including food preparation and cleaning.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders and handle customer and co-worker communications in person and by phone.
• Unload and move ingredient and supply deliveries, stock shelves, and handle trays and other products.
• Complete periodic delivery-vehicle inspections under store or franchise management supervision.
