About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and also assists with in-store work. The role includes customer service, taking and processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, potentially making several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Assist with other in-store tasks as needed.
