About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver pizzas and other products by car and to customers’ doors, and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Store work also includes operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing orders, and other general team-member duties. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to carry products while walking and climbing during deliveries; delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
• Ability to lift and handle cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Far and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision, depth perception, hearing, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, climb, bend, squat or crouch, reach, and perform frequent hand tasks as required by store and delivery duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other products by car within the designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Take and process customer orders by phone and in person, including entering orders on a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Perform general store duties, which may include unloading bulk deliveries, cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
