About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler, and prepares products. The role includes receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and distribute flyers and door hangers. They must navigate the designated delivery area and reach customers across varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
