About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver orders in the designated area and provide customer service. Drivers also periodically help with in-store tasks, including food preparation, stocking, order processing, inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position pays $16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, have at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, and be an insured driver on a registered vehicle that is available for deliveries. Driving records must meet the listed standards, including limits on violations and at-fault accidents and restrictions on serious or distracted-driving violations. Delivery vehicles are subject to periodic safety inspections. The role involves working in a restaurant and making deliveries in varying weather and terrain. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder. Work may involve hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving equipment, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped spaces. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
Driving record must meet the stated limits for violations and at-fault accidents; no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
Must have access to an insured vehicle, be listed as an insured driver on its policy, and use a registered vehicle.
Must meet company safe-driving standards and pass periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
Must have customer service and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Must be able to comprehend and give written instructions and process orders by telephone and in person.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Read maps and locate delivery addresses, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Assist periodically with food preparation and other in-store tasks.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
Maintain a safe, inspected vehicle when using it for business deliveries.
