About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within the designated area and assist with in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning. Drivers use their own insured, registered vehicle and must meet company driving-history and vehicle-safety requirements. The role includes customer service, order processing, navigation, and handling products and supplies. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The stated pay is $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. The position is part-time, and availability to work holidays and weekends is mandatory. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation of that history.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years; the suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
• Driving record limits: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the past five years. Examples of serious violations include drug- or alcohol-related driving, leaving the scene, reckless or careless driving, vehicular homicide, hit and run, eluding police, driving while suspended or unlicensed, and speeding 30 MPH or more over the limit.
• Must have access to a vehicle that is insured, registered, meets safety standards, and is covered by an insurance policy on which the driver is listed.
• Must possess customer-service and communication skills, including the ability to understand and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses, and be able to navigate adverse terrain, including stairs and multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must have the motor coordination, vision, depth perception, hearing, and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces required for the described tasks.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be available to work holidays and weekends; this is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone to take and process orders.
• Assist periodically with in-store tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move, carry, push, or pull supplies and trays as needed.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in safe operating condition and make it available for periodic vehicle inspections.
• Work holidays and weekends as required.
