About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes helping in the store, where team members receive training in deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. Domino’s describes opportunities to develop from delivery driver into management and potentially franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable vehicle to use for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases measuring up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking short distances, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional stair or ladder use, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, perceive depth, and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Help with in-store tasks, including making pizza.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
