About The Position
The Delivery Driver performs general restaurant duties, including operating equipment; stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone and internet orders; counting inventory; completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role includes on-the-job training through customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. Customer service requires communicating verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers, by phone and in person. Delivery duties require safely driving the employee’s own vehicle, navigating roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products. The position also requires accurate arithmetic for making monetary change, with a calculator permitted.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers, by phone and in person.
- Ability to safely drive an own vehicle.
- Ability to navigate roads, maps, adverse terrain, and stairs at delivery sites while carrying products.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to make correct monetary change; a calculator may be used.
