About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries during a shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The position includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have at least one year of driving history.
• Must have access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses in the delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to meet the described physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Read maps, locate delivery addresses, and navigate delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility.
• Carry pizzas and beverages between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
