About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management or franchise ownership.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigation skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and process orders.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching and hand use.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and communicate with customers and coworkers.
