About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers for a new location that is under construction. Training will begin at the Hamburg location before the new store opens. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, completing inventory and related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances; occasional sitting for paperwork.
Ability to lift and stack deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to carry items including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and trays of dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Ability to push or pull trays on a dolly and infrequently use stairs or climb a ladder.
Reliable vehicle and good driving history.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Read maps and locate delivery addresses, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and shelves.
Perform other outside tasks, including removing trash.
