About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver orders by car to customers, navigate the designated delivery area, and may deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, and preparing products. The position involves customer and coworker communication, order processing, and physical activity such as standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, bending, and climbing stairs. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery work may involve private homes and other sites, including multi-story buildings and five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must be able to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries; delivery routes may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Must be able to lift and stock cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform the other physical tasks described in the posting.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including across adverse terrain and in multi-story buildings.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Take and process orders by phone and in person, and communicate with customers and coworkers.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock cases and supplies.
Perform other store tasks, including removing trash and completing outside tasks.
