About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff stores in the local area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management or franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers and perform general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and processing customer orders. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position requires driving within a designated delivery area, delivering flyers and door hangers, and navigating to addresses and delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. Team members may make several deliveries per shift and are expected to carry products while walking and climbing stairs. Work includes standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use. The work environment may involve adverse weather, varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Driving requires far and night vision.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Ability to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to carry products while walking and climbing, including navigating five or more flights of stairs when required.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and travel through delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Take and process orders by phone and in person, using a computer keyboard or touch screen as needed.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies on shelves.
Perform other store duties such as removing trash, cleaning, and changing prices on signs.
