About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential opportunities for advancement into management and other roles. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves customer and coworker communication, use of a computer keyboard or touch screen, and physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasional climbing. Drivers may encounter varying weather and delivery conditions, and must navigate delivery sites including multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and five or more flights of stairs when required.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers, in person and by telephone.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and occasional climbing.
• Have far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
