About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth, including advancement to management and other roles. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and perform general store-team duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to understand and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have the motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform occasional sitting for paperwork.
• Must be able to lift and stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds from the floor onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Must be able to carry supplies, including pizza sauce weighing approximately 30 pounds and pizza dough trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
• Must be able to push or pull tray dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force and infrequently use stairs or a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using maps and navigation skills.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
• Perform outside tasks, such as removing trash.
• Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder for sign changes, wall washing, or maintenance.
