About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and also perform general store team-member duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking short distances, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays on dollies, and occasionally navigating stairs or climbing a ladder.
Ability to work in conditions that may include varying or adverse weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, use near- and mid-range vision, perceive depth, and distinguish hot from cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigation skills.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Remove trash and perform other outside tasks as needed.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
Perform occasional maintenance-related tasks, such as changing prices on signs or washing walls.
