About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and provide customer service while on the road. The role also includes working in the store: drivers receive full training and may help prepare pizzas, process orders, stock ingredients, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The position offers variety and opportunities to grow into other roles at Domino’s, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers need a friendly, positive attitude and must meet the company’s driving and vehicle requirements. The work involves operating equipment, communicating with customers and coworkers, handling payments and orders, and completing physical tasks in the store and during deliveries. Conditions may include adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of the hands and wrists.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Proof of car insurance.
Safe driving record meeting company standards.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses in the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs when delivering products.
Ability to perform the listed physical duties, including standing, walking, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
Provide customer service and process orders by telephone and in person.
Operate equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products, including pizza dough and other food items.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Carry food and supplies during store and delivery tasks.
