About The Position

Delivery drivers serve as ambassadors for Domino’s Pizza, delivering orders from the store to customers and providing customer service. Drivers are paid an hourly wage, as well as cash daily from earned tips and mileage reimbursement. The position offers flexible scheduling and may suit someone seeking a second or part-time job. The role can provide experience in delivery, customer service, and food preparation, with opportunities to advance into management and other roles. In addition to delivery duties, team members perform general store tasks such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The job involves driving within a designated delivery area and may require multiple deliveries per shift. Drivers must use an insured vehicle and have a safe driving record that meets company standards. Work can include exposure to varying weather, hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot equipment, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical tasks include standing, walking, carrying products, climbing stairs, and reaching, bending, or crouching as needed.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery and passes regular safety inspections.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Have an outstanding attitude toward customer service.
Have basic math skills, including the ability to calculate accurately and make correct monetary change.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Have motor coordination and the ability to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform the physical duties described, including carrying products during deliveries and navigating stairs when required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
