About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers deliver by car and bring orders to customers’ doors, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery work may involve multiple deliveries per shift, carrying orders while walking or climbing stairs, and driving in varying or adverse weather conditions.

The position requires standing for most tasks, frequent reaching and hand use, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, and climbing. The work environment includes varying in-store temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped areas, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, in person and over the phone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, and navigating stairs when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring orders to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry delivery orders while walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and climb stairs as required.
