About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products by car to customers within a designated delivery area and performs related store-team duties. Drivers may deliver flyers and door hangers and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also involves operating store equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Flexible scheduling is offered, and the position may provide opportunities for advancement into management and other roles.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries; delivery work may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and bring them to the customer's door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
