About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also helps with in-store work, including preparing products and assisting the team. Domino’s provides training in deliveries, pizza preparation, and other store tasks. The position involves customer interactions, order processing, operating equipment, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for deliveries and proof of car insurance.
• Must have a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must be able to navigate, read a map, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; may use a calculator.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, carry supplies, push or pull trays on dollies, and perform other listed physical tasks.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone and use near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
• Ability to perceive depth and differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Assist with in-store tasks and work with the team.
